This provides compensation for damages to machineries (like boilers and other pressure vessels; cranes; lifts; computers; steam, oil or gas powered engines; electrical plant including refridgerators) caused by the machinery's own failure, explosion or breakdown. Cover is provided against:
- Liability for deaths, injury or damage to third party's property
- Damage to actual equipment
- Consequential loss as a result of breakdown
- Damage to surrounding property
This policy offers financial protection against damage in respect of contract works, construction equipment / machinery as well as claims from third party's property damage or bodily injury arising in connection with the / a contract. Cover could be effected by the principal or by the agent including all sub-contractors engaged in a project.
